Speakers
Tony Litwak, OD
Tony Litwak, OD graduated from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry and completed his residency at the Baltimore VA Medical Center. He is program director of Ocular Therapeutics and past residency and student director of the Maryland Health Care System Department of Veterans Affairs. Dr. Litwak brings years of clinical experience in the diagnosis and treatment of glaucoma. He is author of “The Glaucoma Handbook” and a founding member of the Optometric Glaucoma Society and National Glaucoma Society. Dr. Litwak is clinical professor at Pennsylvania College of Optometry, New England College of Optometry, SUNY College of Optometry, Southern College of Optometry and UAB College of Optometry.

• Upon receipt of completed registration, a confirmation letter will be sent. A $100 processing fee is nonrefundable but may be applied to a future conference if cancelled 60 days prior to meeting. No refunds within 60 days of meeting


AIR TRAVEL
Check with your travel agent or online travel web sites such as Kayak, Travelocity or Expedia for air travel to Cancun. Early airline reservations are strongly advised, especially for weekend travel. Passports now required for entry into Mexico


Jim Thimons, OD
Jim Thimons, OD is an Ohio State University graduate and completed his residency at the Chillicothe VA Medical Center. He is currently the Center Director for Ophthalmic Consultants of Connecticut and has been one of optometry’s most popular lecturers. He is a clinical authority on anterior segment disease and refractive surgery. He is a founding member of the Optometric Glaucoma Society and National Glaucoma Society. Dr. Thimons has received numerous professional awards, authored over 50 publications and conducted eight clinical research projects. He is the clinical professor at The New England College of Optometry and has been voted one of optometry’s 10 most influential people.



GROUP ACTIVITIES:
Group activities include touring the ancient Mayan Ruins of Chichen Itza and Tulum, Isla Mujeres – The island of Women (catamaran cruise with lunch, snorkeling and shopping), Bullfights, Cozumel Tour (scuba diving), Jungle Tours (wave runner and snorkeling), Xcaret (Mexican Theme Park, swim with dolphins and underground rivers), Horse Back Riding, Golfing, Fishing, luxury shopping plazas, open air flea markets and world class dining and shopping. A courtesy travel booth will be set up outside the lecture room.


Eric Conley, OD, MJ
Eric Conley, OD is a graduate of the Pennsylvania College of Optometry and completed his residency in ocular disease at the Baltimore VA Medical Center. Following residency, he served as the Director of Continuing Education and Assistant Professor of Optometry at the Illinois College of Optometry. Dr. Conley received a Master of Jurisprudence (MJ) degree in Health Law from Loyola University School of Law in Chicago. He was the Chief of Ocular Disease at the Worcester Eye and Vision Center and Assistant Professor of Optometry at MCPHS University and served as the Clinical Director of TLC Laser Vision in Fairfield CT and an Associate at the Ophthalmic Consultants of Connecticut. Dr. Conley was recently an associate at Berke Eye Care, a specialized Glaucoma Surgical practice managing complex and advanced glaucoma patients as well as those with severe ocular disease. Dr. Conley is the founder of Lavage Dry Eye Center and has recently partnered with South Shore Eye Care (Long Island, NY).
